Exposing baby Si to her other side of her race ;)
"Diwali is a five day event and the revelers make the most of the five days of festivities in the Karthik month, which is considered to be the most sacred month of the year." - taken fr the web
So baby Si will be celebrating Diwali in her daddy's (karthik) month... Hehehehe... I'm pretty sure her daddy didn't know that his name is the most sacred month of the year :)
Well not that our family celebrate this religious day as we are Christians... But it's nice to expose baby Si to different cultures especially this one as she's half Indian too :)
Daddy is a potato (white on the inside and brown on the outside)
Mummy is a banana (white on the inside and yellow on the outside)
Baby Si better not turn out to be a potato-nana!!! Gaggagagahahaha...
Note: surprised hubby by lighting up the bedroom with tea light candles as deepavali is a festival of lights!!! Sorry got hubby hopes up, no romantic dinner :p
Ok now I'm hungry, where's my muruku???
One of the pic that is of good quality was taken using our pro camera (which mr. Hubby was so excited to transfer the pics to upload to his FB)... The other poor quality ones are from my trusty iPad...
