Happy 42 mths old to baby Si and happy 20 mths old to baby Skye!!!

Happy 42 mths old to baby Si and happy 20 mths old to baby Skye!!!
(previous month's post <~ if u missed it!)

Here's our monthly family tradition of taking Polaroid pics.
Hopefully baby Si n baby skye pics will cheer up ur day!!!
It did cheer us up when snapping these pics... :)

Milestones reached:
.baby Skye fully mastered the stairs... we were at po po n gong gong house for vacation for 3 weeks, baby Skye would walk up n down the stairs like 20 times a day!!! When he gets tired, he "demands" that mummy carry him up n down for countless times!!! He LOVES it so much that even at midnight he would wake up n point to the door n cries till mummy had to take him down n back up!!!
This mummy didn't need any exercise for all those extra calories gained from eating Malaysian food n po po n gong gong home cooked food...seems like baby Skye is missing the staircase once we got back to Singapore!!!
.baby Skye first experience on the swings n he was hooked on it...
.baby Skye popping out yet another teeth at the bottom... 6 in total!!!
This time round with baby Skye is totally different than baby Si!!! (We never noticed when baby Si was teething until of course when the teeth is out) whereas for baby Skye he had fever, gritting n whining a little in pain, refuse to eat n was nursing NON stop and worst is using me as a pacifier to comfort his pain!!! ***ouchhh***
.baby Skye showing affectionate to jie jie Sienna without being asked... he will "sayang" her, give hugs, hold hands, taps, etc... but don't get me wrong, most of the time they are fighting over a toy!!!
. Baby Skye able to throw rubbish/diapers/anything "icky" into the rubbish bin on his own... (He did this a few mths back-this mummy forgot to record it)
.Baby Skye went down from 2 naps to 1 nap...(He did this a few mths back-this mummy forgot to record it)

.baby Si sitting on the swings to maximise her swing time in Malaysia since in Singapore there isn't swings??? Any Singaporeans know why??? Depriving the kids of it...hehehe
.baby Si eating seeded grapes like a pro!!!
.baby SI playing more n interacting with baby Skye...oftentimes, I hear Sienna talking to her brother n sometimes teaching him things. ***can this momma finally get some "me" time?*** baby Si used to play her own things but now it seems they can both play with each other....
***dream on... this momma still needs to be the referee as Sienna still can't share her "important" things while baby Skye is too young to understand the word "sharing"***

.Baby Skye n Baby Si meeting their half Korean - half Malaysian cousin Ryan Ha-jun (Zach Ha-min's new baby brother) for the 1st time. (Last month actually, this mummy forgot to jot down)

THE infamous STAIRs that made this mummy lose weight!!!

Asian fusion or Asian confusion?

We had the privilege of tatha n patti (Karthik's parents) who joined us for this joyous photoshoot! This mummy had to made sure all parties' schedules lined up (we were all in India the week before n the grandparents flew out the week after)... and am glad it worked out just right!!!

It was on 4th of July!!! (Happy independence day to my Indian American family) ...
Weather was perfect albeit hot n humid. Thank God the sun went down to cool all of us down... I chose it in the evening so that we won't be too sweaty and secretly hoping we will get a few sunset pics... but the transition went by too fast!

Our previous photoshoot (1st family photoshoot) was taken during the day around 10am... n oh boy was it HOT!!! Any earlier, the kids n mummy will be still snoozing...zzzZZzzZ
Here's the blog entry for our 1st family photoshoot!

This time round, Singapore's Chinese Gardens was our venue... (previous photoshoot was at Botanic Gardens) ...
Reasons this momma chose Chinese Garden:-

1) It had the Chinese feel to it with Chinese architectural as the backdrop!  Contrasts with our Indian/Chindian family!!!
Mr. Hubby sweeten it up by suggesting that we wore our Indian outfits as the kids will soon outgrow it!!! BRILLIANT IDEA MR. HUBBY!!!  yes, the kiddos have overloaded n bursts out of the outfits...
(P/s: this last minute decision explains why Tatha wasn't blending in with us)
Then this momma added another element to our photoshoot! ***why not do a quick change n wear our Chinese costumes after***  (P/s: mine wasn't really Chinese as my Cheongsam was back in Malaysia... but my skirt has kind of a Chinese feel with silk material... #cheatOne)
Thus concludes the title of this blog "Asian Fusion??? Or Asian ConFusion???
LoLs... #soPunny that #itsnotfunny!!!

2) close proximity to home... was quite an eye candy mrt ride with stares from everyone seeing our family all decked out in full on Indian costumes... thank God the kiddos were the main focus...hehe... luckily the mrt was a quick one making it less torturous...

3) we kinda ran out of ideas as to where was a good photoshoot place. Gardens by the bay was one of the contenders... but this momma decided not to as it was the weekend (crowded) n we wouldn't want any strangers to be included into our family pics n say no to photobombs... plus the supergrooves trees were way too high up to shoot as the background... n also it would be added costs if we were to pay the entrance fees inclusive of the photographer...

Ok ok... enough of "yabberring", let the pictures do the "talking"!!!
Kudos to our photographer, scott @scottkjphotography...
(On a side note: Oh how I miss the un-hazey clear blue skies!!!)

Happy 41 mths old to baby Si and happy 19 mths old to baby Skye!!!

Here's our monthly family tradition of taking Polaroid pics.
Hopefully baby Si n baby skye pics will cheer up ur day!!!
It did cheer us up when snapping these pics... :)

.baby Skye attended jie jie Sienna playgroup for the 2nd time as it was national day party at school. This time it was a combined class with about 20 plus students... imagine the havoc!!! Thank God it was only an hour long...I'm glad Baby Skye had a good ndp2015 party! Everyone was decked out in red n white colors.
.baby Skye 1st time to South Korea
(Will blog about this soon, hopefully)

.baby Si 2nd time to South Korea (but 1st time to Busan)

Click here ->>> Throwback baby Si's 19mths!
From the above link, we decided to stopped taking baby Si Polaroid pics at 18 mths as we were running out of fridge space, n wanted to keep some Polaroid film for baby no2!
Soon, we will be stopping our monthly family tradition of taking Polaroid pics for GOOD as we are running out Polaroid film...  (plus if u noticed, sienna's section for "milestones reached" is almost non existent) so, this mummy decided, once we run out of Polaroid film, that would be THE END...

On a side note: this month's blog post will not have any Polaroid pics taken of baby Si and baby Skye as we are back in Malaysia to visit the grandparents and also a family trip to Busan, South Korea
So here's a pic of baby Si and baby Skye with their favourite Chiu chiu aka uncle Jeffrey aka Manny!!!
